'Apertus' is a bi-yearly collaboration between Escola Massana Centre d'Art i Disseny and Fundació Han Nefkens and consists of :

_ a week-long workshop ... given to a selection of 4th year students and alumni (from Escola Massana's Arts and Design graduate program) which is themed , structured and led by an international artist and previous resident of the Fundació Han Nekfens --in this case , multimedia artist and poet Sojung Jun from South Korea ...

_ a one-day seminar and series of activites ... coordinated by three curators (Jordi Canudas , Montse Romaní , Gabriel Virgilio Luciani) featuring conferences and happenings given by local Catalan creative agents (in this case , Xavier Bassas , Anna Dot , Marina Monsonís , Javier Guerrero Nieto , Societat Doctor Alonso) , chosen in concordance with the theme provided by Jun , which was 'reflection' ...

_ an month-long exhibition ... hosted at galeria àngels bcn-espai2 bringing together the projects produced by the students throughout the workshop and afterward , over the summer ...

_ a publication ... a visual and essayistic collection of content related to the experience , that loosely narrates the workshop , the seminar and the exhibition , featuring contributions from the curators , artists and creative agents involved in the process ...
